Yeah... that's the only bummer I have on my car is the 2.5 liter. But I aim to fix that when she finally lets go. The smallest motor going back in this car is gonna be a 2.1.

But then we ended up just buying her a new one and I kept mine.
I still have a motor and trans in my shed. 1.6 liter Y8 motor. Clutch. Tranny. Whole 9. Be a nice swap for an older honda. Not for power but just for a swap.

It's a 1996 D16y8. Has I think like 80k on it. Tranny too.
I'd sell it mad cheap. I need to clear out my shed. I think I got some hub caps and some other isht in there too. I had a bunch of AEM stuff but I think I gave it all away. Had pretty much their whole catalog.

i think i was there when drake did his, and it was a pita. I remember that unbolting the manifold to raise it up helped, and so did dish soap lol

I had one... well it started out that way and ended up more like a B21c. LOL. Yeah for Spoon stroker motors! Too bad I never got to play with it. After my car got gutted I abandoned ship and let the builder keep it for their project car.
OH... I do have a SICK cam for the Y8 that I have. It's a 272 cam. Thing rips. Just need an adjustable cam gear to run it. I'd throw it in with the motor for another $150. And I'll throw in whatever else I can find. Might be nothing... might be something. Who knows. I don't venture into the shed much. It's full. There's like... 2 cars in there. haaaa.
