Car Info: his wife crazy
87', right? Anyways, hope to see you this Saturday.
So, I removed the cooling lines from my throttle body (don't know why Subaru hasn't installed a control valve to regulate coolant flow for cold weather instead of all the time) and I lost enough coolant to get air in my cooling system. I found this out at 6:20 am this morning as I was headed to work and my car overheated as I turned onto Nave Dr. I had to coast to the next cross street, pull over to turn the car off, and then grandma it home. As I stayed home from work (yay!), I learned how to burp the system. The best part? Subaru uses a proprietary coolant that costs $27/gallon. So I spent the green and got a gallon, burped the cooling system and sat down to tell you all about my adventure.
Thanks for reading and see you all Saturday!
