Jose and I figured as much that next weekend would be hard for some folks. We blatantly forgot that next weekend is Labor Day weekend. That's why we suggested moving the "official drive" to the 9th, and having a "fun for anyone that can make it" drive on the 2nd.
Had fun last night too. As for the drive, im down for either the 1st or the 8th. Lets get some.votes on wich one people are most likely to show up too. Than will decide from there where wr gonna go too.

So last night I crossed over to the dark side and test drove a ford focus st. The rally car that kent block drives now instead of the subaur sti. Any ways I was very impressed with this car. I scared the sales guy while I was on the test drive. I would of test drove a wrx but they were all out of stock at them moment. My heart is still set on getting a wrx though.

haha well i hope u dont get focus st, nd u get a wrx! I still think u should get a Scoobie.... Jst my 2 cents
I jst finished doing a bit of research on the focus st. All i can recommend to you Miles, is to really do ur research of the car u actually want. Bottom line is, becore u set ur mind on what u actually want the car for, if is for rd driving fast, track, or jst want to have a nice car. Research the possibilities, test drive the cars u might like, think it and than make ur decision.
I came from a fwd car. When the wife got her subie, i loved the AWD, nd the fact that we went to the snow, went off roading, and when it rains the car didn't acted like it was going to spin out. Than when i got tired of my typeS, case it was too slow to keep up with the wrx, i started looking at other possibilities of funner cars. For me, the AWD sold me. Being that i had to no longer worrie about wheel hop, was a bonus. Did.more research, and finally came to the conclusion i wanted the Wrx. Been over 2.5yrs since i got my subie and have no plans what so ever to get rid of her. This is the one car i am not planning to ever sell. So Miles, my advice to u, research the car u want, and base ur decision on the research u find.

Just to tag on Jose's rant, I went from a 2001 Civic to a 2005 STi and never looked back. Since then I have moved on to my now infamous 2011 STi. FWD to AWD is a world of difference, and a realm I will never return to.
Stick with AWD and save yourself the heartache!

I keep leaning towards the wrx because of the awd. I do take a snow trips at lest once a year to go snowboarding and vist family.so a t this point I'm not sure if I should get new or slightly used.

If there are any questions u may have, feel free to ask Miles. We are here to help u get a good car and we will help u with answers

I was going to pay in Cash. So my bottom line would be the car with the better out the door price. I do agree with you about getting 100% stock if it happens to be used. I like years 05-07 hawkeyes and the 11+ hatchback.
Jose do you have dealers that you recommend checking out.
