Ah! I was wondering why there weren't any caravan threads yet. I know last year there were maybe 5 or 6 different caravan threads in the BAiC alone.
Oh, and I just saw the suggestion for your group to stage off Redwood. Since I'm from V-town, I can tell you that it ain't the best place to hop onto 80 very easily.
My suggestions for y'all would be:
1. the Hunter Hill rest area
2. the Courtyard Marriott across the street from Six Flags Discovery Kingdom
3. the spot where the Fairfield-Vacaville contingent will stage (info found here)
And depending on how large your group ends up being, one place will be more ideal over the other.
Finally, since people have been having trouble hunting down info on when & where your meets N drives are, it's probably a good idea to start a separate thread for the North Bay caravan.
Hope this helps. Just my $0.02.
This is the plan. BAM will count as our monthly drive. I'll update the calendar.

So here's an idea for the north bay caravan on the 11th of August, we meet up at the Starbucks in novato, where we meet for our monthly meet. We meet up at 830am, since the sacramento caravan is leaving at 830am. We meet up at 830, nd we leave towards ballejo at 9am. Should take us 30mins to get to Vallejo. By the time we get to Vallejo, the sac crew should be almost to vallejo, than we head out together ..... Plz, lmk what u guys thinks of this idea of mine.

Looks like you may need to adjust your times by at least a half hour. Y'all should be at your staging area in the Courtyard Marriott lot by about 9:10. With the Sac caravan shoving out at 8:30, they'll be rolling thru I-80 past Hwy-37 at around 9:20. It should only take about 50 min to get from Fry's to near y'all.
For reference, click HERE to see what Thomas (AKA stupidchicken03) suggested for the Fairfield guys who will only be 5 minutes up the interstate from y'all. A few posts later, the Fairfield group organizer sets up a staging time of 15 minutes prior to when the Sac crew should be rolling past them.

Than lets meet up at 8am. We can leave by 830am and stage and wait for the caravan. We should be at the staging place by 9, and the caravan should be right behind us.
