Do you like to drive on dirt roads?

My preferred type of "rally" would include a few paved sections where we'd be timing each other (attempting to hit ideal arrival times at legal speeds), but then giving lots of time for the unpaved- where you guys could go ahead and find good photo locations.
With the emphasis on taking pictures, the "rally" portion would be only just to keep things a little bit interesting on the transits without having people flying around on each others bumpers.

How about a week from tomorrow? Sunday, December 21st. We meet in Santa Rosa, take a nice drive up to Hopland, then hit our first dirt road heading into Lake County.
Fuel up in Lakeport, head on across the lake to some other dirt roads - either Cow Mountain Recreation Area or Bartlett Springs area. There's an abandoned Hot Springs resort back in the woods there...somewhere. Small resort, but good for abandoned building shooting...
