You know it's highly likely. They don't allow meets on Treasure Island anymore. What is a treasure island? A one way trap. But who's the cop on this forum that's gonna get caught? Rob you just stuck your foot in your own mouth

Then don't go, simple. The guys that do go we'll let you know if it was a trap or not . Personally i think cops have better things to do then to think we are racing 1/4 on Treasure island lol. Tons of car ppl still have meets there every weekend.

Treasure Island : Fogwatch Picnic Area
Treasure Island : The Great Lawn

Located in San Francisco Bay, midway between San Francisco and Oakland,
Treasure Island is a former Naval Base, under management by the Treasure Island
Development Authority (the “Authority”). The Authority welcomes Special Events,
which help to enliven public use and allow for increased enjoyment of the Island.
To ensure that Special Events are responsibly managed and executed, the Authority
has prepared this packet of information which explain the Authority’s procedures for
reserving venues and issuing Special Event Use Permits necessary for conducting
Special Events on Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Islands (“the Islands”). All
Special Events held on the Islands must be issued a Special Event Use Permit.
Special Events and organized gatherings held on-Island without a Special Event Use
Permit shall be immediately terminated and Event Producers shall be held liable for
all fines and penalties associated with unauthorized use of land and structures on
the Islands.

if its just a car meet and say you're there for the sights should be okay unless its a huge meet with all the booths and stuff on their property thats what u need the special event permit for. we are just a bunch of random ppl rolling in the same types of cars to enjoy the scenery. is that not allowed?

Hey guys totally forgot to post here. It seems like the event is getting bigger and bigger which means I have to contact an official on the island to organize this meet which i have been. Usually if its 20-30 its fine since we had an evo meet there last time.

Now with over 100+ people, then yeah its a 1 way trap and no i do not want any trouble for evo, sti, or any other car owners.

I've already spoke to Jack Nathanson whos in charged with film and events on treasure island and he will get back to me soon

Once again, i shouldve kept this thread updated but i totally forgot. regarding the posts, im not a sti owner so i dont frequent sti forums, my username of evoxforums is also koa257.

Again, you have the freedom to choose if you want to come or not, but if you do come, you will enjoy it i promise. This could be north america's biggest sti/evo meet and im not going to make it a miserable time for some since many are coming from so cal and further areas

My name is on the event page so if you want legitimacy go ahead and add me as a friend.

other than that hope you guys had a great thanks giving

Jacky
