Can someone recommend a good mechanic/shop in Mass.? preferably around Quincy, MA area? Doesn't even have to be Subey specific. We have a LGT 2.5 and a Honda CR-V.

Look into a place called Pro Spec Performance. They are in Quincy I believe. Although, I do not know if they are still in business or not. But it is a shop that I believe works on Subaru's Evo's etc. They might be able to help you out and no, I have not used them myself to be able to give you a credible solution, this is just a suggestion.

 

I have already been there. The owner is Alex or Andy. I didn't like the fact that he recommended a Honda oil filter when he ran out of Subey filters. I'm sure a filter is a filter but it didn't feel right. Plus the labor rates were outrageous.

When I moved to Sacramento, I went to DBTuned in Roseville and the owner was great. A mechanical engineer by trade, he's someone I could trust. It's going to be very difficult to find a mechanic who was a mechanical engineer by trade.

Now we're moving back to MA.
