Can someone recommend a good vet?

One of my cats is puking all over the place. She had this problem last year but it turned out to be a diet change (we had changed flavors of food). Reading online makes me think she just has a lot of anxiety (our other cat is siamese and really agressive towards her) or is just over eating (based on the way the puke looks and smells). I can't tell though and I think we need to take her in to get looked at and have a million dollars in tests run .

Thanks.

Don't take it lightly, it could be cancer. The quack vet I was going to said the same thing, "oh diet change", then he started to loose weight. In Feb we took him to an oncologist(spelling) after doing internet research, sure enough lymphoma, he's gone from, 22lbs to 8lbs since Feb. He doesn't have much time left. Maybe a month or two at this rate. Good luck with your kitty.

Madison avenue vet clinic, been going there since i was about 5. the old guy that ran it was a national recognised exotic bird and ferret specialist or something but he passed the practice on to his assistant vet lady. shes good too.

Cordova Veterenary Hospital. we take all our pets there and they are very good. kinda far from where you're at, but they're good.

as for the expensive tests, don't go that route right off the bat... try the cheap things first like diet. we had a cat that was doing horrible things to our countertop and when we left town it looked like he went on a hunger strike (he lost over a pound that week). we had him tested for worms and then started feeding him a food from science diet for sensitive systems and he's fine now. active, putting weight back on, and no bad habits. it just seems like some vets immediately jump to the testing first instead of ruling out the basics.

+1

Especially if you ever have any dental issues with your animals. The owner is one of the few animal dental specialists in the area. I know this becuz my dog had a root canal due to banging a canine into a big *** rock that caused damage to the root.

Larry, the main Vet, is the states on-call wildlife emergency contact for rescued animals and emergency aid.

he has been seeing my cats for a long time, you remember all the stuff he did for Turbo to try to save him
