Tint!!! Adds style and protection for your interior. Luckily, no attention from cops yet. so far.

tint

I like tint. It gives some cars a nice touch. My buddie (who has a black 2000 accord coupe v6) has 5% all around and a 15% front. He only gets hassled a tiny bit by the fuzz and I'd say they are pretty strict here in Hawaii.

I have 15% all the way around on my RS, and I love it! It helps a lot in the hot CA summers, and it looks so good. Of course, in CA it's illegal to have your driver/passenger windows tinted, but I've had them tinted for 6 mos and no worries so far.

Do It!

i'd say tint.. i have mine tinted 18% back window, 28% rear, and 38% front. i did it mainly for protection against sun in the summer, since i'm in the car a lot...
i think if u take it to a place that has warranty, then it's all good. the place i tinted at has lifetime warranty on their tinting so no worries about peeling and wut not

I think that tint looks really cool, but . I drive like a bat out of hell most of time. I like to be able to see better at night. I am changing my 04' oem to sti hid's. Seeing is a good thing. Tint would be the last thing that i would have a problem with the cops for!

Your friend's car looks nice with the tint. Thanks for posting the pictures.

These are surely a newbie's questions, but what is the darkest tint possible in CA and in general? Limo? And what exactly is the percentage on a Limo tint?

I want to get my windows tinted, but I'm not exactly sure what I'm getting myself into. These are just little questions and its not worth starting a whole new thread on tinting 101.

just go to your local tint installer and tell him to install the darkest tint legal in your state

me personally, would go 20% or darker
