OK, I have a 03 wrx sedan and my dome light is set to come on when I open the door. I wanted to switch the old bulb out for a LED light for brighter light. Once I installed the LED light my dome light no longer comes on when I open the door, it lights up very very faintly, I am talking only a very tiny spec of light that you can barely see it at all. It works fine when I switch it to stay on all the time. So i swapped it for the original bulb and it remains very dim even with the original light. I tested everything and retested, searched on the web and could not find a fix. I tried the LED light in my wifes 2010 forester and it works like a charm, but not in my car. Does anyone have the same problem or know what to check to fix it. I wanted more light for my kids in the back, now I have no light. Thanks for any help.
