Size isn't everything. A heat soaked Godspeed will take forever to cool off vs the STi which cools rapidly once the car starts moving.

Less efficient Bar and Plate construction on the Godspeed, would have to buy a y-pipe kit, causes clearance problems with AC lines and other things.

Also... probably more expensive.

I'l sell you my v8 sti tmic for $500!

The thickness of the Godspeed retains a lot of heat, the bar and plate design also retains a lot of heat because there is more material.

Good reading:
Intercooler Tech - Tube and Fin vs. Bar and Plate

It really depends on what you are going to use it for, for me, daily driving, I see better efficiency out of my STi TMIC than I did out of my ebay(godspeed) BigTmic when I had it. However, once I was on the freeway and up to speed the ebay tmic seemed to cool better.

Yeah I agree. I daily H3 so it works for me. I agree with the whole problems cooling down. Anytime I make a northshore run I bring a jug of water because if I stop for like 5 minutes and start her up again I will get a quick misfire code from the soak.
