For engine managment it's a matter of preference. Utec is great for people that like to play with thier tune and learn hands on however that flexability comes at a certain risk.
Ecutek is presently a flash option that is done by a licenced Ecuteck dealer / tuner and will be coming out with a tuner option as well enabling the end user to make adjustments. Both have a great following and professional level tuning is becomeing more abundant for both. I would do some research and find out who, locally, you have closest to you place of residence that is a professional tuner. Does he or she do Utec or Ecutek; because when your not sure and need a pro to help you it's nice to know help is not far.
