i was wondering i have a STi top mount in my wrx 04. was wondering if it is as good as getting an aftermarket like turbo xs or are they the same?

It depends on what mods you have. STI intercooler is a nice piece and isnt restrictive unless your making ALOT of power.

 

also i wanted to ask... there is a squeaky sound coming from the intercooler everytime i hit a bump or shift gears. can this be ac tube hitting the intercooler? if so is there anyway i can prevent that from happening? need help please.

Did u notice a slight power gain from the STi intercooler? I might be in the market soon for a bigger TMIC

 

yeah so much difference from the stock. plus there is alot more space for boost.

 

just wondering wat mods do u have and are you still running stock turbo?

 

STi vf39, perrin pulley, ACT clutch and flywheel, greddy evo exhaust, dp/uppipe. hks bov, STi 550 cc inj, walbro fuel pump injen air intake, and turbo xs utec. still need to get my car dino-ed. about u?
