what does this have to do with an evap leak? do you even know what the air injection is for?

evap leaks can be hard to pinpoint...hardest case needing a smoke machine to find the leak...common leaks are that like your replaced...the gas cap...or if you changed the fuel pump lately...an o-ring/seal...and usually the moving parts on an evap system... parts like purge valve of some sort...theres usually two of them on a system...one vents back via vacuum into the intake...the other vents to atmosphere usually through a charcoal cannister...

Learn how to read, I never said air injection solenoids had anything to do with evap leaks. The OP never mentioned the code he was getting so how are you so certain that he is having an evap leak problem? The check engine light w/ flashing cruise control can be the result of any number of problems.

+1 a code triggered by a loose gas cap does not necessarily mean it for sure is the gas cap. this just mean as SUMATIC stated, you have a evap leak somewhere.

this is tru. a CAI not mapped/tuned correctly could affect cruise control performance/readings. correct me if im wrong.

you hit the nose on the button...learn how to read the OP

"The code reading indicates loose gas cap"

and so? you do know the gas cap is part of the evap system...right?

Had the same problem. I changed the gas cap and an emissions valve and it still came back. Turned out it was the rollover valves on the top of the gas tank.

But first thing I would do is check the small "T" fitting thats located on an emissions valve located in the front of the engine by the alternator. Best thing to do is search NASIOC, there are quite a few threads with pics that show where the "T" fitting is at.
