What're the ins and outs of launch control?
Educate me please.
There must be some pretty big 'outs' or else I figure someone would have bought this already.

The reason I haven't purchased that box is it costs $280 and basically does what my right foot does already - hold the car at a set RPM.
My friend Jimmy has a 2-step (what "launch controls" used to be called on domestic/drag cars) and uses it when he bracket races for consistency. He doesn't really get a better launch with it, he just gets the same launch all the time...
That being said, when the feature "goes live" in the UTEC for launch control I'll probably buy the cheap switch/harness to get it up and running!

I understand about the other misgivings you have about that box but I looked at the web page and the $280 is in Australian dollars. U.S. is $156.77.

Know anyone who has it?
I'm alongside Richard in that I've got a UTEC and will most likely bide my time until they publish a new reflash.
Just curious about this gadget.
