What is recon??

i been seeing a lot about recon inspections or whatever on this site and have no idea what it is. i live in south dakota right now but comin back to hawaii in february. theres no kind of vehicle rules out here so im wondering if i should be worried about my car when i come back to the island. my sti is sittin on pinks struts and eibach springs and i got a greddy evo 2 exhaust (not very loud at all). is there anything i should be worrying about??

thanks guys.

p.s.
scary bout that house gettin hit in ewa, i was thinkin bout livin in ewa or iroquois point or something. F'in thieves! hope they catch em.

Its basically a Reconstruction Permit that allows you to modify your vehicle but there are limits to the Recon and at times gets kinda frustrating to obtain..When I got mines for my civic, i had to go back 3 times just to get all the neccessary papers in order.. 1st was for the front license plate and my tailights, 2nd was for the alignment papers expiring, and 3rd was for all the affadavits needed for all the mods that was on my civic. Below is a link to give you more details on it. Hope this helps and GL on your recon when you go get it..

haha naw im a little west of where tornado alley is. most tornadoes are on the east side of this horrible state. a lot of snow and wind here, since im originally from waianae it might as well be a damn tornado.

If you're gonna work in Hickam I would look for a place in Pearl City or something.
