I

never used the word slow and S2000 in the same sentence. When the VTEC kicks in, it's like a small turbo. And the S2000 has USABLE power all the way to 9K. But as I said before, it's so well made from the factory, you have to do serious research and spend serious money to make it substantially better. My $0.02. Nobody listens to old guys anyway.

You're

talking impossible Dan. Sometimes I go to throw a Fosters can away and it sticks to my hand. Go figure.

fun fooking car...especially with the top down...my E36 M3 drives better, has more torque, i think it's faster and is easier to drive at the limit, but the s2000 is just a much more FUN car...handling is very sharp, and shifter is awesome...and revving that sucker to 9k rpm is unreal...pimp factor is also higher

i bought mine just so i could have a sporty convertible in my fleet...and being able to just drop the top in a moments notice is awesome...it's PERFECT for hawaii weather...as an only car, it's pretty impractical but i didnt buy it to be a practical car...

wifey (and girlfriends- hahahahahha) now prefer riding in the s2k over the M3...

You are WAY WAY OFF! 14.9:1 is what the S2k has. I'm not sure what that equals, but that is barley quicker than the STi. BTW the S2k only has a 8k redline now, it used to have 9k, but they dropped that for more HP.

I've driven and raced a few...and I still have my STi.

I do like the S2000. I really do. Now that I have an Xterra, there is no real need for a 4-dr sportscar for me. The S2000 is sexy, catches people's eyes and looks awesome. It handles good, but on the track (whether it is Solo II or lap sessions), the car (like San said) is truly a handful.

I love the STi and I really like the S2000...but I doubt i would sell the STi for a S2000...unless I got it cheap!
