So now I've located S401 #016/400, but they won't seem to let me buy it outright. They keep saying that I should see it in person before I decide to buy it.... Man, that wouldn't happen here. People would be like, "You want to buy this thing without even seeing it?" [quietly starts taking good parts off], "excellent..."

This is all moot however, seeing as I am still here until the 17th and none of my friends have a shakoshoumeisho or "certificate of parking space". The worst thing is the Yen --> Dollar rate is getting REALLY bad for me quickly... The longer I have to wait on this, the more expensive it gets... Even though the price of the car in yen hasn't changed, it's gone up a few thousand dollars in just a few days. craptastic...

 

Let me know when you get there. I want used wheels that you can only get in japan.
