How much boost is too much?
I have a 2003, 2.0L WRX. I recently installed an IHI VF-34 turbo, cat-free exhaust & up-pipe, STI injectors, Walboro fuel pump, Perrin TPIC, blow-off valve, manual boost controller & had the car reflashed (ECUTECH). It dyno'd @ 310 hp & 300 ft/lb of torque @ the wheels. The guy that tuned it (A. Friedman of Dynoflash - fastest EVO guy from CT, etc..) set the boost level @ ~15MPA max. ~21.75PSI. Can I continue to run this boost level with the car as a daily driver? I obviously will not be hitting max boost all the time on the road. How dangerous is this on the stock engine? Can it handle this boost level? The car runs like a scared rabbit but I don't want to blow it up in a month. Any insight would be helpfull.

Might be a little high, but I am far from an expert. I have heard that STi's have glass pistons, and some people replace them with upgraded forged pistons. Check out the nasioc technical formums www.nasioc.com, I think they get more traffic than here.
