I've had the legacy new since Oct 04. I vote don't sell it. It is actually a really awesome track/autox car. I even managed to get first overall in STU when i lived in Ohio and competed in the MVSCC region (got a nice plaque and everything for my troubles 
)
Also it's not that heavy of a car, not sure which model you have but i have the non-limited and on paper it weighs 3300lbs vs an 05 STI which weighs 3298lbs. The ONE mod I did that doesn't even make me want an STI anymore is the front LSD mod. This will significantly change your car and it will pull you around corners like an STI or better.
Sad to say I no longer autox my car since being bit by the track bug and the LGT is no slouch on a track either. Here's some video links that I hope will reinforce your decision to keep the LGT. (But if you got mad cash and don't care then go ahead and get a new car)

I just recently got some RCE Tarmac1's (revalved KW V2 coilover) and when I install and dial them in there will be more trackday vids of the LGT. SO DON'T SELL THE LGT!!!

Went to a small go-kart track (www.adamsmotorsportpark.com) to test out my new RCE tarmac 1 coilovers. I was ran top 4 of out 25. No alignment or fiddling with tire pressures.
Track speeds are similar to autox speeds (2nd gear - 3rd gear but not top of 3rd). I was slower than 2 a prepped Miata and 2 Evos that had 100+ more HP than me (im Cobb OTS stage 2 no catback).
Sorry no vid. I got there late and didn't have time to setup. Just paid my entrance and went on track.
