Trying to decide whether I should part down as close to stock as possible or sell as is. What might you pay in either case?

Can't afford the motor rebuild.

I bought a house and then a month later lost my job. Now, several months later I'm JUST starting a new, low paying temp job while looking for better and I have zero funds to spare. So I'm rebuilding it then selling.

your not gonna get a lot for all your time and mods. I think if u can hold out, you should put a hold on the rebuild, and just buy a beater for like 1k to drive around for awhile.

That's not an option.

Any ideas on dollar amounts?

No job, with a mortgage payment means you've made the right decision to unload the car now. Part it out. You'll have a hard time selling the car 'as is' if it's all assembled because you'd likely get more money by parting it out.

You didn't list your location and prices for used cars will vary by location. Subarus command higher prices in areas with real winters, although your car is not ideal for winter use. Just look up Kelly Blue Book at www.kbb.com.

if you're going to sell the morettes let me know. I need painted skins and having unpainted skins will open you up to more buyer possibilities

parting it out will be the best move to get more money, but some of the parts my take a long time to sell. If you sell in a whole then list it at kbb fair price to good condition price. and add the mod as a package deal. someone will buy the whole car, but it will take some time. Do you sill owe money on it?
