Aw crap I've angered him!

My times of winning/being behind just ken are over. You STU guys were right behind me on street tires, I can't imagine the kind of ego killing you'll do to me when you're on Hoosiers.

Today was all about tiny batteries and bigass camber\caster plates. Also did free caster mod and pry-bar in as much caster as I could, can always take it out.

Tiny Batteries:

Battery is held down with industrial velcro, once it was down I couldn't get it off.... so... hope it lasts. Also, inline fuse there on the left because fires are bad.

Nice. Is the battery under the passenger seat?

I have a lightweight in now but it's more than 3.3. That's sick.

I have a 2.3lbs LiFe battery.
It's a Ballistic Evo12, and starts the miata without a problem. It was about $240 shipped, and then I bought a LiFe charger from Montgomery motors in Iwilei.

So what do you guys think, run the PDE plates as is (Camber/caster) to gain some caster and get ~3 degrees max camber... OR, run them as camber only and run 3.5 degrees camber?

I have bolts in the front too, but I'm pretty sure it will still only go -3 degrees camber regardless.

Get more caster. I have a couple of different types of camber bolts you can try. You shooting for 3.5?

I would like to get as much as possible tbh, but caster on the subie is super nice since we really don't have much to begin with. Right now I'm just running the stock camber bolts.

I might have some camber bolts laying around and I will try throwing one in the bottom hold of the strut, but I don't think I can do that per the SCCA rulebook, and afaik I can't replace the bolt in the top.

In SM, the shock/strut is free to mod, except it has to attach to the same points. So two adjustment bolts on the bottom, and a camber plate on top, would be totally legal. I'd get max caster, with 3 degrees camber. Not sure if you guys need more than that, but I dont!

I'm sure you can get to 3.5 with one bolt and still maxing out caster. Let me know if you need some bolts. You should get it aligned before TNT thought.

Do you have a temp gun? I've been thinking about picking one up so I can get the camber dialed in right.
