Pistons and Pins came in today.
I couldn't believe it.
They said three weeks and it took less than two.
Sweet.
Thank you Jegs.
Plus the pistons came with pins too. I figured I'd have to order new ones. I did with my TRW pistons in the past.
Sooooo happy.
It's only a matter of time.

Plans
Fix the heads,
Fix the leaky fuel injectors,
Shot peen the rods,
Put in the lower compression pistons
Balance the whole assembly to 1/4 of a gram
Install an MSD SCI
Install my intercooler,
Run it easy for 1000 miles at 4lbs max boost.
Bump up my fuel pressure 10#
Then crank it up slowly to 12-16# of boost.
Burn clutch,
replace clutch
break tranny
replace tranny
break axle
replace axle... you get the point.
In the future I'm going to go with Darton Sleeves in my block. IF for some reasons my new JE pistons sh*t the bed, I'm going to go with a custom set of pistons at 9.0:1- 9.5:1 and stronger rods. My block sleeved will be WAAAAAAAYYYY stronger than an STi block. And it will cost less to aquire.

Damn, Dom. I wish I was still out there to help you out. I'm with Chibby on the possible learning experience to be gained by this. Good luck. How's your daughter? Mine is noisy.

Just so you know that this isn't a hi-jack, Dom I'm gonna give you a ring sometime today, but knowing you, you probably stayed up the last 2 nights working on it.

Are you going to install them yourself? Can I help if you do the install? I'm trying to learn and get experience. I'd like to sleeve my block in the future.
