Are you available to give me some advice? I'd like to know if I can remove the shims and change the retainers, and springs without having to separate the heads from the block?
Ed explained that this is possible if a compressor was used, but I don't have one, so is there another method besides separating the heads and block? I know that I can attempt it without compressing the heads, but if a valve falls, how hard would it be to retrieve it?
