i launch at 5 and a half K, then at the third yellow light i lightly engage the clutch and slowly (but quickly) let off the clutch then floor it before the light turns green...get uber good reaction time

 

when you come out to the drag strip, walk over to us, and ask us in person. it will be easier to describe than just words on a page. yeah launch at 4700-5000 rpm, preferably while the rpms are on the rise, and gently slip out the clutch, until it grabs, then your on your way. i was surprised to see the ressurection (sp?) of this post. good luck windcloud....
