If you were illiterate you wouldn't be able to read much at all. Maybe if you learn how to spell that would help.

If all you're gonna do is comment on threads this old without any good information at all, you might wanna consider www.clubsi.com Maybe someone over there will give a rat's *** about what you think.

In the mean time, read up a little bit & learn who the **** you're talking about. When you call an extremely knowledgable person who actually DOES know how to drive nothing more than a tool, you say more about yourself than you realize.

exactly what is slipping the clutch during launch?? i've been trying to search but no real definite answers, since u guys go tracks, thought i may ask..

Letting it out slowly so you don't have full clamp force right from the get go. Kinda like how you "normally" start from a stop.

first couple of time I launched my car it was terrible. The car fell on its face. 3rd run I launched at about 5500rpm and pulled a 1.89 60 and a 14.4 1/4 stock... it was a good run.

You will get it. Like the others are saying add some air to those tires and let them spin a little.

ho, back from the dead ah this thread...anyways, try launching at boost...i forgot who told me that but it works...managed to get 1.7xx 60ft with that technique...best i did stock was 15.1 but had a lot of driving improvements

so its like rev to about 4-5k while clutch ALMOST out, just b4 clutch totally out to grab?
