if the rpms are right you can, but not if you are dragging the car, it has to be a more consitent rise and drop in the rpms, you can all most hear when they are in sync, i have do it a couple of times when going through traffic, like the highway, nothing special, but you need the rpm drop for it to mesh right

 

hmm...my uncle (who drives a 71 camaro running 11's) told me to try and hold down the accelerator the whole time...and kick the cluch and shift up...would that improve times?
