my gf has a mainland insurance through her bank...cuna mutual or something...she smashed up her car on the 7th.... they havent even looked at the car... does it normally take this long? what can be done?

 

If they don't have a local branch it might take longer than normal. I would start calling them as much as possible. Get names, numbers, etc. Harass the hell out of them. Really! Then once this is done dump the crap out of them and move to someone located there like AIG, Geico, USAA, State Farm, etc...

 

i hope her insurance was changed to Hawaii? but you really need to harass them...i just got into an accident and I am Harassing the hell out of the guys insurance because he hit me...I should get an estimate on the damages on Monday. They are even paying for my rental!

 

okay thanks guys... i had to check that i wasn't going crazy and two weeks is a long time without a car
