HID Conversion Kits for 02 WRX
Anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking to upgrade my lighting a bit, my stock lamps seem low quality now that everyone and their mother has HID or Xenon lights. Am I going to need to re-aim my headlights, or adjust anything? Also, I know it says plug-n-play, but that could mean anything. Do I need to remove my headlight assemblies?
thinking about going w/ the dual beam 8000k from www.xenoneyes.com

Make sure you don't cheap out and buy a Made in China or Made in Taiwan kinda kit. They burn out very quickly.
Also, the stock reflectors do a poor job of focusing the HID beam, and that results in you putting out less light onto the road and more into opposing drivers' eyes.
Any HID kit would involve at least removal of the bulb and installation of a converter unit.

Not aftermarket reflectors, but rather housings. For example, you can always consider the European Domestic Market STi housing (prohibitively expensive), or also the Morettes (they look like the old rally car housings). Housings tend to get pretty expensive though, so you might want to try to find a full set (bulbs, etc. included).

I think I will just go with the lowbeams and spend some time adjusting them as much as I can. I've looked for complete housings ect.. I cant do $700 for headlights at this point.
