That really have to.....

.....And they have to be driven to each stage. I think it was the GB rally that some team tried to make it to the next stage, but a cop pulled them over because the car was "unsafe" for the road.

Yep, the 'Bobbies' pulled over Marcus Grunholm. He was arguing until he was blue in the face but was politely refused access to GB's finest roads.

i'd like to see an actual pic of a WRC driver getting pulled over by the "policia"
that would be a good wallpaper

its pretty cool. on www.wrc.com they detail the rules- and one of them is

"Road Section
The public roads used by competitors to drive from stage to stage, service points and parc fermé. Here all traffic laws must be obeyed."
