Official BAM X Pre-Pay and Information thread! Please pre-pay here!!!
It's that time of the year again, time for our TENTH (Crazy that it's been 10 years!!!) annual Bay Area Meet/Extravaganza! Please read the following CAREFULLY, and REMEMBER, WHEN YOU PAYPAL ME, MAKE SURE YOU SEND IT TO ME AS A "GIFT", that way they don't take 3%. If it's not sent as a gift I will reject your payment and you'll have to do it again, SO PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR PAYMENT AS A GIFT !!
This year's event will be held in the same location as last year, at Stafford Lake in Novato California. The date (mark your calendars!) is SEPTEMBER 12th @ 11am! We have site 1 reserved for the day.
UPDATE! The pre-pay period is OVER, please do not send your payments to me, if you plan on attending you will have to pay the full price of $10 at the door
This year's proceeds will go entirely to the Furry Friends animal rescue, so every cent that is left over will go to homeless animals find homes that would otherwise be put to death. Last year we saved many lives and raised $2,500 for the charity (yay everyone).
This year will be just like last year in terms of the raffle. The raffle is def the most enjoyable aspect of the event so I'll make sure that we have some great prizes for everyone. I'll start a new thread when I figure out exactly what we'll be raffling, so don't fret, we have some amazing vendors that always come through for us. (Thanks to all our supporting vendors)
Paypal: If you want to pre-pay, you need to send your payment to the paypal account at the bottom of this post, but DON'T FORGET, YOU NEED TO SEND IT AS A GIFT, otherwise your payment will be rejected. It's $6 per person which covers entree, food, and a raffle ticket. If you're new to paypal, when you send the funds it will ask you what type of payment you'd like to send it as, and "GIFT" is one of the options. MAKE SURE you select GIFT as your payment type, it's the only way to ensure that paypal doesn't deduct the 3% fee that they usually charge. My paypal addy is at the bottom of this post.
Raffle: We will be selling raffle tickets at the front gate (same place where you get stamped and get your food ticket). I don't know what prizes we have yet so I'm not sure if we're going to have 1 or 2 raffles, but typically we have 2 raffles and the first raffle (smaller prizes) will be $1 per ticket, or 7 for $5.
I don't have a list of participating vendors yet, but I'll have that up and running soon (vendors, look for a PM from me, and if you're a small vendor or outside of the bay area you can contact me any time).

Thanks everyone for sending your payments and thanks to those who go out of their way to support this event! You guys are the reason I put so much effort into making this happen, you guys truly deserve a kick *** event and I'll make sure that you get one!

That goes to everyone that is playing a major role in helping the origanization of this event, your ticket is FREE! (cooks, etc). I can't thank you and Anna enough for helping out in the way that you are.
(In case people don't know, AVE and Panda have taken over the events portion of the meet, so the car show and all other fun events is thanks to them, so be sure to thank them for their hard work because it really is a lot of work... Every year I try to do it all by myself but I came to the realization that the meet suffers because I try to do too much and I want the 10th year to be really great which is why I have two very enthusiastic people helping out. I couldn't have made a better choice either.
So here's a big thanks to Anna (Panda_04 and Ave!!!)PS: Can someone bring a cream pie or two so we can throw them in Ave's face and video tape it? Don't tell Ave though, it's gotta be a surprise!
