Project 5.0

Alright...maybe you all can help me out. A friend of mine and I were talking and we were talking about what kind of car I should get. I mentioned that I had been looking at the Nissan Sentra SE-R and he said that I should stay with an American made car. Now, I kinda agree with that. Then he gave me an idea. He said that I should get a older 5.0 Mustang and hook it up with a new intake and some dual pipes that will lead to a Flowmaster kit. I have to admit...that would be pretty sweet. Any other suggestions or comments on this matter??

Hahahaha...that was a good laugh for today. I'm sorry but I wont go for a Civic. Or any Honda for that matter. No offense to Honda or owners...for me it's just too stereotypical. Hmm...I'll look into an RS tho. There is still quite a bit of time before I'm actually gonna buy one. I'm gonna get my motorcycle first. hehe *wink*

Well I can't tell you what my budget is going to look like but I'll tell you what I want. I want it to have a deep rumbling sound. Something that you can hear, coming a mile away. And I want to have to capability to be able to haul ***. So...something to keep in mind.

Man 5.0's can be pretty sweet. It's just not uncommon. Many people have em. Old 5.0's go pretty cheap. probably for less than 5k. Rebuild the engine with GFB and be pretty fast. If your lucky look for an early 94'. Some of them still had pushrod motors. Although the 4.6 is a force to be reconed with and there are a ton of parts to be had. The only thing i noticed was that when you paruse the mustang mags a lot of them have engine work and vortech superchargers. It just seems like they all do the same thing. I say 4.6 TT. That'll run you a little more than 13k!!!! I think you could also join the dark side and get a Honda CRX. Those are really cheap. Good motor and turbo and you'll **** a lot of people off. Good luck

All the 94's and 95's had the 5.0 motors. The mod motor came out in 96.
