To tell you the truth, I was in the same position you were. I felt out of place in the this community. Trust me, the subaru community is as tightly knit community like the s2ki community,vdub community, club4AG community when they were still going strong.
But I hate to say this but you just need to step out of your comfort zone and just mingle with the attendee's. Be warned though as this tighly knit subaru community LOVES TO TALK about MEATS & SAUSAGES!! YOULL see things like this happening LOL
