I BOUGHT PAINT!!!!
Got about half way thru prepping the car tonight and unfortunately I have school tomorrow so the paint will go on this Friday. Fun part is with my car partly taped up I get to ride my bicycle to school tomorrow, which is from my house in danville to CSU EB in hayward. This will be interesting...

As far as I've gotten.
It's sitting in the garage waiting for clear coat to go on.
It'll go on tomorrow, weather permitting *fingers crossed*

bought the paint from San Leandro Color

New update... **** clear coat. I painted 3 panels and they all got air bubbles in em. My gun was sputtering so that caused it. I don't know why it was doin that, but I got really mad.
That was my last try at clear. So now ima have a shop paint that for me .
I'm surprised how mad I got, honestly wanted to punch a hole thru my passenger door. Blah. Neway I'll post up pics of the final product.

sounds like ur gun wasn't cleaned good from the last time u sprayed if it was sputtering or ur settings for ur gun were off. there'a alot of reasons for that. also if there were "bubbles" in the paint that could mean that you got "solvent pop" that has to do wit how u sprayed the clear and how long u let it "flash" between coats. What clear did u use? also u should try steppin up ur spray gun to iwata, they're expensive but worth it!
imo, spraying clear isn't really that much harder than base. if nething its easier to cover ur mess ups cause if u run the clear or sumtin u can always sand and buff to get a glossy finish. but wetsanding is still a b**ch though, n i hate it -__-
