Grey Valet Key - What's the point?

Grey Valet Key - What's the point?
Grey Valet Key - What's the point?

Subaru gave me a grey key when I bought the whip, told me it was a Valet key.

What exactly does this key do? Does it protect me from the valet driver WOT'ing the subie?

the valet key will only drive the car, wont open the golve box if you lock it with the normal key.
