Have a rupp-rupp sound coming from my drivetrain. With everything off you can hear the sound, it's not real loud but seems to be louder when turning right onto entrance ramps while maintaining speed. Had a mechanic check it out, he said he didn't think it was a wheel bearing because it wasn't constant. It's not heard at speed. This my first Suburu so am trying to soak as much info as posible.

 

I dunno what a rupp rupp sound is? If it only happens while turning it could be a CV on one of your front axles, or simply the front diff transfering torque.

 

I have a slight whine about the same but it happens when i'm driving down the highway at speed, especially when slowing down. it soulds minor but could possibly turn into something serious.
