STi injector failure?

Has anyone else had injector failure? Like getting stuck open and hydrolocking the engine before it will even start. I bought a pair of brand new sti injectors. Im running them on an EJ18 ECU on an EJ22 Block, + Turbo.

Its possible that they were modified, like the perrin, or that it has something to do with the ecu im running. Im just asking if anyone had this problem

I doubt your EJ18 ECU is capable of driving STi injectors. Why did you only get two? You need to get a WRX ECU and get it reflashed to compenstate for the larger displacement engine and other other custom parts.

Are you using the USDM side feeds? if so you can pop off the cap on the top of them and check the piston part (not sure what's called) as I have seen them stuck and been able to pull them out and to start working again (I only saw this on a modified set though not a new set.

I drove the car for 3 months with the USDM STi 550cc injectors on stock ecu, but i am useing an Apex'i S-AFC also.

Would a WRX ecu plug into my stock wiring harness though?
