I don't think you have to flush the oiling system at all in a new engine. Modern synthetics are formulated to be compatible with conventional motor oil and can be mixed 50/50, 25/75, or whatever combination you like. You just won't get the full benefit of using straight synthetic oil, though.

If I was out driving in the middle of nowhere and my turbo oil supply line developed a leak, I wouldn't hesitate to top off the crankcase with conventional motor oil if that was all that was available and I really had to drive the car. I would just perform an oil change after the leak was repaired.
