Stock oil is 5W30 dino oil.
I'd recommend using Kendall GT 5W30 until you've got about 7-8k miles, then switch to Redline 10W40 Full Synthetic.

I use dino 5w30 in my STi. I'm just about at 11,000 miles. Typically I use the Chevron brand.
I live in Kalifornia, so weather is not an issue in choosing oil weights.
