Looking to Upgrade Turbo on 05 STI

I want to upgrade my turbo system, however I don't want to get crazy. I am looking for a mid-way option. I am currently running a COBB CBE, and Stage 1 tune on the COBB AP V.1

I am not a huge fan of FMIC, but most turbo upgrades state that you need it. I have been looking at the FP green, but my knowledge is lacking in the area of turbos.

Any suggestions or links to info would be helpful.
Thanks

FPGreen, injectors, fuel pump and you'll sit pretty, you can do the FMIC as well, but it's not needed, just prefered, you'll wanna get a non-catted DP too

Since you dont wanna go overboard on the turbo upgrade, I suggest getting a FP20G or 18G turbo. You get the quick spool up for daily street use. You're going to have to get a downpipe, fuel pump, bigger injectors, and a protune.

I think the stock TMIC's core is inefficient in running with a FP Green.

Honestly a 18-20 g is perfect for your prerequisites, add fuel pump, injectors, dp, possibly a larger tmic and you have a very responsive street machine with some good tuning. If your thinking FP green then figure fmic, and inlet tube, unless you go to a 3inch inlet then the costs begin to rise quickly.

I am on a Fp green 2.4, external wg all supporting mods with meth to be added along with a fmic. I love it for street duty, you can drive around off boost and with correct gear selection be in boost very quickly. The external wg manages boost perfectly and is only loud when your at target boost other than that all you hear is flutter.

I have a SZ55 for sale for what its worth. Considering the specs, condition, and free rebuilds for life from Deadbolt, the price is actually really good. A bit more in price but much better setup than a Green IMO.
