If economy is a concern, you shouldn't have bought a 3500 pound turbocharged vehicle. FWIW, keep it stock except for a custom tune, and ask for leaner maps rather than more power. The rest comes from "adding lightness" as Jason said, or simply driving slower.

please do tell in more detail of how you did it. somes a little too out of reach, but thats just me. if it really works that well, i wanna try it. 2.12 a gallon gets to ya after a while.

so far, now that i have by baja, I have been getting ~20MPG so far and I am not too hard of a driver. If I keep it in Drive and not sport shift I have been getting consistantly 21mpg, but if I take it into sport shift I have been getting about 19.5mpg.
