shiv said it makes a little more power than the wrx stage 2 which does 0-60 in 4.2-4.4 and 1/4 mile in 12.4-12.7 @ 105-108MPH. but it depends on the driver too.

it should make more power (2.5 compared to the 2) but it is also heavier. I'm a little curious about 1/4 times myself. I would think that's one of the first thing they'd do. Is there a reason why they don't post the time?

Keep in mind that the STi's extra power comes from a larger turbo (the VF39 in the STi is closely related to the Vf34) and not the displacement. Displacement affects at what RPMs a given turbo makes peak power, not vice versa.

As for 1/4 mile times, expect low, low 12s with Stage I, as you can launch an STi more aggressively, it's peak power is higher, and it has shorter gearing. The weight difference is minimal in the grand scheme of things.

I think the lack of published 1/4 mile times for the kit has more to do with STi driver demographics than Vishnu's reluctance to post them. All Vishnu customers are, of course, encouraged to share their results with their fellow enthusiasts, but *most* STi drivers aren't drag racers. I'm sure there is at least one or two who has taken his STi Vishnu Stage I to the track and happens to be an active member of i-Club though.

Low 12's? Better than I expected, but it makes sense given the power output. Now only if those harnesses would come in
