From what I have read TurboXs stage 4 is faster than a Vishnu Stage 2 (high 11s to low 12s with TurboXs while mid to high 12s with Vishnu), but I have also heard that the Vishnu stages are a lot safer (I run a Vishnu stage 1 myself)..... Some people have complained about the TurboXs stages pinging .....

the turbo xs runs a little faster because it comes with the tmic. that is why it can run high 11's. vinshu doesnt come with an intercooler

The real question here is probably "which is closer." Every WRX will perform better with a dyno tune than with a base "stage" program. So, if you live on the west coast Vishnu is the obvious choice. If you live on the east TurboXS should be your call. The bolt-ons for both are basically the same: VF30/34 turbo, STi Injectors, Fuel-pump, up-pipe, turbo-back exhaust, TMIC and piping (optional on both). There are also lots of other performance tuning shops out there who will be glad to tune your WRX. Check their resume and feel them out, you may find a pro for cheap and get some real gains for less out of pocket.

a stage 4 doesn't meant much any more if you don't factor in the turbo....could be a -34 to a -22 to a -20g, etc.
