Make sure he checks the adjustment on the wastegate actuator arm. If that is set too loose, the wastegate is always open and will cause slow spoolup and inability to run higher boost. Also check your BOV.
Thanks

ok i will let the techs know about that hopefully they can solve the problem fairly quickly. then i can get my car back in shape. could maybe the downpipe from the hotside of my turbo might be another option they could check. gasket? i let you know what's the news hopefully soon. im takin it in on monday to get it checked.
Wow, that's a pretty turbo, look how thick those coolant lines are...
I love how smooth Rich's tunes are, he tunes conservatively but the smoothness of the power delivery is amazing. My 02 WRX was jerky and temperamental with the factory tune, but is smooth as glass now. Great pics.

so i went to my shop on monday and they tightend the wastegate actuator arm..while he was doin that he broke the clip that connets it to the hotside of my turbo. so he had to order a replacement clip from atp, in the mean time im driving my car still but he told me not to boost because so the actuator arm dont come loose. sucks i know, really eager to get that fixed just to see if tightening the arm made a difference or not. if it did than i'd be happy im boost more tha 19psi. if not then what would be another factor of why i can boost more beside my bov? the guys at the shop was thinkin maybe i'd have to get an aftermarket boost controller so i can boost more asuming maybe the factor boost can't get it up there?
