anyone on this fourm that has this turbo let me know how is your car running...im lookin for 400+hp daily driven. maybe track/drag use on the weekends occasionally but mainly daily driven. eveyone likes to go fast just wanted something a little bigger. any replys would be greatly appreciated.

400 whp? on a dynojet maybe not on a respectabble mustang dyno
are you planning to run pump or race gas? Meth or no?
the 3076 is too small, maybe an HTA green or a 35R

On 91 Octane the 3076 can do about 330whp with a good setup on a low reading dyno. On race gas it can over 400whp.
Thanks

No problem, it should definitely be a fun setup. FYI, I come into LV periodically to do tuning. I have a trip scheduled for the 26-27th this month.
Thanks

whatever you get be sure YOU are going to happy with it
ultimately you will have to drive and live with the setup, not anyone else
good luck

Congrats Shon and the best of luck with your future set up!
After your swap do you plan on making some runs to the
Las Vegas Motor Speedway? Did you find a good shop in your
town for the install?

GT35 is just too big yeah it gets the HP number in a 700 RPM band
30 is faster around a track 35 is a drag race turbo its like a light switch nothing then bam we are going at 5k

It looks like I'll be extending Sunday, so I should have some time then.
Thanks
Not entirely true. Quite a few GT35R setups out there, with built motors/heads, cams, and reversed intake manifolds spooling GT35's under 4k rpm. Not quite a light switch imho. You are right though, if it's a stock motor/heads/I.Manifold, then yes it's got prob a 1500-2k rpm power band. I think once you go over a 35R you start to get the real lag issues for street driving.

thanks alto bro...yeah i plan on makin some time to get to the speedway to do some runs just to see wat times i get with this new set-up. and also yeah i found a really really good reputable shop that has been around vegas the longest and is still doing bussiness in vegas, where as the other import shops close down in couple years. they have been workin on my car every since i got my 06 STI. i'd say 90% of my mods were done by MP motorsports. so networking with them for along time has really paid off since im a loyal customer they really hook it up with the prices. so yeah i will definetly keep this thread goin untill i get numbers shown on my new set-up should be by middle of next week.
