I currently have a jdm turbo ej20 in my sandrail I am using a EMS stinger ecu there is absolutly no smog stuff on the engine as it is a offroad car. It is a bone stock engine running 17psi of boost running only 114 race gas. the only thing i have done to the engine is i have a custom header to relocate my turbo. what upgrades would you do i am planning on putting a t28 turbo and bigger injectors and uping the boost what mods would be worth the money. I only expact the engine to live a season they are only like $600 to begin with so putting in another jdm one is no prob. I also have another stock ej20 i can build. And a single overhead cam ej22. I have heard of people boring out there 2.2s is that worth the time

Most of the mods involve removal of cats and larger injectors/turbo/ecu upgrade.

Maybe you can try headers.

As far as lighting the flywheel i have a aftermarket kennedy flywheel clutch and 2100 lbs pressure plate. it also has a custom header with a 90degree turn down after the turbo. it is in a rear engine setup bolted to a built and geared vw trannsmision. in a car weighing 1400lbs
