STi engine mounts. I wouldn't use the tranny mount without installing the engine mounts first. Installation can be done with a floor jack, ramps, and hand tools, but you'd better have a pretty good selection of things like ratcheting box wrenches to reach into tight quarters. It's a lot easier for a shop to install the engine mounts when the car is up on a lift.

If you didn't already have the STi tranny mount installed, then I would recommend getting an adjustable rear anti-sway bar and Whiteline or other aftermarket anti-sway bar chassis bracket. Perrin already comes with the stronger brackets.

If you can get a uesd set you might be able to buy an adjustable rsb (+1 for whiteline), rear endlinks, and an whiteline alk. Your suspension/handling with improve greatly.

Up-pipe, intercooler hoses, and underdrive pulley. I have all three installed and it they make a world of difference together. Better spool-up and feels strong throughout the powerband. But if you don't have suspension work done yet, I'd go that route.

Yea i really want suspension work done...i havent installed the tranny mount yet but im gettin my clutch, brakes and 60 thousand mile servicing next weds so they said they would put the tranny mount on free of charge so i kinda want to put it on then...Im thinking cusco rear sway bar, helix endlinks because ive heared nothing but good things about them, and theyre cheap. and maybe a front or rear used strut brace...the whiteline alk and the perrin psrs, are they the same thing basically. and do they improve the car that much?

EDIT: and maybe if i can find a used rear sway bar with endlinks for around 150-200 and spend the rest on lowering springs...i should be gettin more money soon cause im selling my bmx bike if anyones interested its a standard sta500 with everything you can possibly do to it.

Yeah the ALK's do a lot. I was on the fence till I read the forums. NASIOC also has a great article about ALK's. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?p=8384387

I might have to look into that once i get some more money...I found a used perrin rear sway bar with heavy duty mounts and rear endlinks for a very reasonable price so im gonna go with that and i might get some used springs online...anybody have springs they wanna sell me
