up pipe ticking noise!?
Hey guys,
Just got my up pipe installed and now I get this ticking sound from about 4000rpm+. But I only hear it if I floor it. If I graudually bring it up to red line it doesn't tick.
FYI: This is the only MOD I have on my WRX.
Could this be an exhaust leak?

I also had a ticking sound from the exhast and it was he uppipe leaking at the header
I fixed it with some napa gaskets
If it only comes under boost It probabley is a high pressure exhaust leak

It can sound like a tick to an all out screech. I had it the the MPJ Peformance guys busted their asses until it was done right. It only comes on underboost.
