Theoretical Twin Turbo setup
Has anybody seriously contemplated doing a twin-stock turbop setup on the EJ20? Has anyone drawn up plans? I was just thinking about the plethora of used Stock turbos out there, and then I started thinking about moving the battery, redoing the exhaust, getting some independent engine management and boost control. I know I'd need new fuel pump and injectors, too. I'm more concerned about actually fitting this stuff in the engine bay without major reconstructive surgery.
Other thoughts involved the IC, or IC's (empahsis on the plural) and perhaps a secondary intake (one for each side).
This is all in the realm of the theoretical, right now. But later in life, I think I would be very interested in doing something like this to my car.
Has anybody actually done this to a WRX? If so, how did it work. If not, why not?
Rainy days lead to crazy thoughts.
