Hey everyone,

Its been while since I checked this forum but I thought I check up first on experience before I send my WRX to the shop.

Has anyone had this before, my car makes a rattle sound and its coming from the front right side. It rattles more whenever i hit a bump and rattles when Im idled. You can hear it good if you put your ear near the wheel well on the right side.

My Subbie is a 04 with about 30K miles. I have a CAI, Up pipe and a turbo back exhaust. I used to have a downpipe but took it out and put the stock back on.

What I guessed it could be was a leak or something loose. Does that sound ideal to anyone? I just want to get an idea before I send my car to the shop. Subaru told me that they will look at it and do the 30K mile check up for $550. I was like WTF but its been while since I did a check up.

Its either the heatshield or the downpipe loose. Retighten it, mine did the same. Highly doubt its the up-pipe but just check that too. Good Luck.,
